Analytical Aerotriangulation
The first step in our photogrammetry process is analytical aerotriangulation (AT). Our AT software enhances the ground control with the generation of additional analytic points. This enables us to verify the ground control as well as set up the project for mapping. The tolerances of the AT program are dependent on map scale and surpass the National Map Accuracy Standards.
Stereo Compilation
Photogrammetric imagery is then compiled on our analytical stereo plotters and converted into a digital format. In order to provide our clients with superior quality aerial photogrammetry, mapping products, and 3d rendering photogrammetry as well as remaining on the leading edge of technology, we are continually upgrading the computer systems and software on which our plotters operate.
Aerial Cartography
The final phase of an aerial mapping project is editing. Our expert Cartography department combines and edits the compiled digital mapping data. They break the project down into necessary sheet sizes and perform final quality control checks. Once a project has been edited it is translated into the client's specified format. All of our data and imagery, unless otherwise stated, are delivered on CD-ROM. Our high-quality plotters allow us to produce hard copies of the imagery as well, on high-quality photo paper or Mylar film.
