Cooper Aerial Provides Imagery for Victims of Tea Fire

In November, of last year, the Tea Fire claimed more than 200 homes and charred 2,000 acres in Montecito and Santa Barbara, California. The fire was the result of a bonfire that a group of college students allegedly failed to completely extinguish.

We were honored to be given the opportunity by Penfield & Smith to fly the area and provide imagery which is being used to estimate damages and begin the reconstruction process. We are always eager to get involved when our services can help restore some normalcy or provide relief in a time of tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

Infrastructure

At Cooper we are currently working with the Department of Transportation in a number of states. We are honored to be playing a role in the improvement of existing infrastructure and the development of new infrastructure in these and other states.

We are currently working with AECOM to provide mapping and imagery services for the Williams Gateway Freeway Alignment Project. The Williams Gateway Freeway, also known as the Arizona 802, is a 22-mile stretch that is proposed to run from the eastern end of the Santan Freeway, through Pinal County, and connect to either US Highway 60 or the Arizona 79. When completed, this project will greatly reduce traffic congestion.

We are also providing AECOM with mapping and imagery services of the area stretching from Interstate 10 and the SanTan Freeway to State Route 153 and 24th Street. This imagery will be used to coordinate a freeway widening project.

These are just a couple of examples of infrastructure projects in which we are proud to be involved. Well planned and executed infrastructure plays a vital role in our daily lives. We are always excited for the opportunity to lend our services to fellow companies as well as state and local government agencies in order to ensure that such projects are executed successfully.
