What’s New at Cooper?

Introducing Project Plus package (PPP)

As was mentioned in last month’s newsletter, Cooper Aerial is releasing a complete mapping product line. The line, entitled Project Plus Package (PPP) encompasses and integrates selected ground survey services into Cooper Aerial’s comprehensive set of geospatial mapping service offerings. The Project Plus Package (PPP) line is designed to work directly with the customer’s survey team to validate topographic mapping services. The Project Plus Package (PPP) is well suited for larger mapping projects that require blended survey technologies including: Airborne GPS, dealing with modern coordinate systems and coordinate projection definitions. The primary tasks in the Project Plus Package (PPP) series are:
  • Geodesy Integration to modern control systems.
  • The use of blind panels in order to cross-check the analytical aerotriangulation math model.
  • Field survey cross section check verifications to validate the final mapping services.
  • Airborne GPS flight systems and redundant ground units.
This is an important addition to Cooper’s service offerings, helping the company to better meet the evolving needs of their valued customers.
AGIC Conference

Cooper is excited to announce that they will be represented at the Arizona Geographic Information Counsel (AGIC) conference by Chris Seck, Rick Bunger and Gene Brosseau. The three are looking forward to visiting with members of the GIS community and learning about hot issues and concerns facing the industry in order to help Cooper look to and plan for the future.

Please look for us at the conference! More Details

Still to Come:

In next month’s issue we will begin a series of educational briefings designed to explain the geospatial industry. Through this series we hope to help our valued customers and respected partners better understand what we do and to encourage all of them to rise to the Cooper Challenge.
