Cooper Aerial Purchases 2 High Capacity Scanners and Announces the Launch of a Geo-Scan Division

Phoenix, Ariz. (May 10, 2007) – Cooper Aerial Survey Company, a client focused aerial photo and mapping company announces the purchase of 2 DSW700 Scanners and the subsequent inception of a geo-scan division.

The DSW700 Scanner is a photogrammetric film scanner for use with both cut and roll film. The scanner produces both geometrically and radiometrically accurate outputs. The state-of-the-art technology of the DSW700 ensures an end product that is both reliable and cost effective. In fact, Cooper plans to offer the service for $10 an image plus shipping and handling for up to 100 black and white images. All orders of 100 or more will receive an even lower rate.

Cooper Aerial is proud to add the functionality of the DSW700 to the company’s expansive inventory of cutting-edge geospatial equipment. The purchase of the DSW700s was a strategic decision to supplement yet another scanner which the company already owns. The purchase of the scanner enables Cooper to add photogrammetric scanning to the company’s list of service offerings and therefore better meet the needs of Cooper Aerial’s valued customers. Cooper expects to use about half the capacity of the scanner in 2007 and hopes to see that number increase in 2008.
