Cooper Aerial Opens a New California Office

Cooper Aerial Surveys Co. is proud to announce our new office located at 2001 Wheelan Court, Bakersfield, California 93309. Combining forces with Western Photogrammetrics, Cooper Aerial Surveys CA., LLP officially opened October 1st, 2011, and will provide photogrammetric, LiDAR, GIS, and ortho-imagery services to the California Engineering & Architectural community. A Special Thanks to Emily Awbrey!
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Emily Awbrey. Though we plan to continue to work with Emily in collaboration with Todd Photo, she will no longer be a part of daily business operations at Cooper Aerial. Emily has been part of the Cooper family since April of 2006. In her time with us she served as a Project Manager, working with many of you on a regular basis and representing Cooper Aerial at conferences throughout the Southwest. Though we are sad to see her go we are excited to know that she is following her passion. Running her own personal training business, and working in businesses development at Todd Photo; Emily will remain active in the mapping industry while branching out into the field of health and fitness. 2011 Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima Imagery

We’re proud to announce our new 2011 imagery of Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal Counties! We have acquired approximately 14,000 Square Miles of Color Digital Ortho-Rectified imagery of the Phoenix Metro Area including Wickenburg, Gila Bend, and Casa Grande. Flown at 1:24000 in Color Stereo Analog Photography, the imagery will have a ground sample distance of .8′ or 9.6″ scanned at 10 microns and will be visually equivalent to a 1′ digital product. San Carlos Irrigation and Drainage District

Location: Central Arizona

Project Classification: Irrigation Rehabilitation

Cooper Aerial was contracted by GEI Consultants to assist in the preparation of surveys and mapping for the rehabilitation of the San Carlos Irrigation Project. Cooper’s mapping and survey will be used in the preparation of designs for modifications to, or reconstruction of, existing structures that divert and deliver irrigation water from the Gila River in Pinal County, Arizona. This project is part of the rehabilitation of the San Carlos Irrigation Project that was authorized by the Arizona Water Settlements Act of 2004. Continue reading

TPC Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ

Cooper Aerial recently teamed up with Olsson Associates to provide mapping services for the TPC Scottsdale. In anticipation of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Cooper flew the site at 1000 feet above ground level to produce precise 1″ = 20′, 1/2 ft mapping of the entire course. Cooper also produced color ortho imagery with a .25 inch pixel resolution. Continue reading
